Hello. This is Dr. Chris Magiera from Warsaw, Indiana. I am a candidate for Congress from the 3rd congressional district of Indiana.
Every day, our God-given natural rights and Liberties are being infringed by the massive and unaccountable federal administrative state. In the office, and on the streets of the 3rd District, I hear the concerns of the people. The people are worried. Some even want to give up. Submission to tyranny is not an option. There is a solution, the Constitution Solution.
Okay, so there is a solution. But I am frequently asked, exactly what is my plan? How do I intend to use the Constitution to cure the dysfunction of our federal government?
So, let me take a few moments here to outline the various goals that I would hope to achieve as a member of the United States House of Representatives, in order to restore the original intent of the Constitution.
This list is not in an order of importance but is simply a list.
- Repeal the 16th Amendment.
- Repeal the 17th Amendment.
- Dissolve the Federal Reserve, and restore our economy to one based on sound monetary policy and not fiat currency.
- Defend human life at all stages.
- Propose a “Life at Conception” Amendment to the Constitution.
- Defend our borders by formulating strict immigration policies that protect our citizens and their well-being. If necessary, submit as an amendment to the Constitution to add the word “immigration” to Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4.
- Pass legislation that would sunset, on a rotating basis, all federal agencies. This would provide the structure for restoring the Constitutional basis of the agencies.
- Hold judges and justices of the article 3 courts to strict accountability that they remain in the office only with good behavior.
- The federal budget needs to balance, and there needs to be control of the federal debt. I recommend—as a starting point for the discussion—the Manhattan Institute report authored by Brian Riedl in September 2018 entitled “A comprehensive federal budget plan to avert a debt crisis.”
- Strict compliance with the doctrine of congressional nondelegation of Constitutional powers.
- Change current House rules with respect to committee power over pending legislation. The current system of committee dominance disenfranchises large segments the people from their constitutional representation.
- Divest all land owned by the federal government that does not strictly meet the requirements of Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17.
- Repeal Obamacare and all federal involvement in healthcare.
- Eliminate non-constitutional federal agencies. By virtue of the 10th Amendment, these powers are reserved to the States or to the people.
- Just as we now have energy Independence, we need to establish Independence from the dominance of China. This is both an economic and national security issue.
- Eliminate federal government worker labor unions, and re-establish accountability to We the People by making employment in the federal government an at-will situation, which will be rightly administered by the chief executive.
You cannot trust any career politician to make these vital reforms. A change is needed. You need to have a representative in Congress that will follow the Constitution 100% of the time, in order to secure your God-given natural rights and liberties. That person is Dr. Chris Magiera.
